Christian Bortoluzzi launched CB Hockey Group in 2018 with a clear vision: to develop and train young hockey players who are driven to succeed. With years of experience on the ice and a passion for mentorship, Christian is dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential.
Christian started playing hockey at the age of three and went on to compete at the highest levels. With eight years of AAA experience and an OHF championship under his belt, he understands what it takes to win. He spent three years playing Junior A hockey in the NOJHL with the Kirkland Lake Goldminers and in the OJHL with the Newmarket Hurricanes and Toronto Patriots. He was also scouted by the QMJHL’s Val-d’Or Foreurs, attending two main camps and competing in multiple exhibition games.
Beyond his playing career, Christian has been actively involved in coaching and player development. He has worked with several minor hockey organizations, including the Vaughan Rangers, Greater Toronto Capitals, and Duffield Devils. His experience coaching at various levels has allowed him to refine his teaching approach and connect with players of all skill levels.
Christian also worked as the head shooter for Franco’s Canadian Goalie School, further developing his ability to mentor young athletes. His patience, enthusiasm, and reliability are at the core of his coaching philosophy, ensuring that every player receives the guidance they need to grow and improve.
With a background in Sports Management from Humber College, Christian combines his on-ice expertise with professional knowledge to create a training environment that fosters growth, confidence, and success.
At CB Hockey Group, we believe in developing not just skilled hockey players, but well-rounded athletes who are prepared for the next level.
